The Naked Piano
~The naked piano~
Left stripped of all it’s glamorous glow.
Still a flame flickers, playing the tune time does not know.
No strings no hammers, it’s keys have rotted in painful notes.
But look!, the rise of the sun,
the release of the moon!,
all can be seen within the chords that it sings!!
How can such be?!
Where stems this glee!?
What makes it free??!!!
Why does this monument stand with no feet
It was broken of it’s frame, stranded in rain and yet still it peaks!
Stretch through the sky!
Insight with no eyes!
All is as such of something wholly alone,
Yet still it loves the world, smiling a stroll.
Never astray it finds it way,
Naked of all, a nudely display,
This must go to show of the much its love has to say.
It’s full, glorious, warm, and as full of this day!!!
It needs not a thing,
Of worldly dismay,
The naked piano, forever displayed.
